Upcoming Classes with Carol

Carol has two, 2-page scrapbooking layout classes coming up.  The first one is a Prom themed layout.  The layout is embellished with beautiful velvet ribbon and lots of gorgeous Swarovski rhinestones.  This class is being held on Saturday May 23rd at 1:30pm and again on Wednesday June 24th at 6:30pm.  Here's a few photos.

Carol's next layout is Graduation themed.  This class is being held on Saturday June 20th at 12pm.  Photos ~

Keep in mind we have an incredible die-cut machine at the store.  If you want to customize any of your layouts with a person's name, etc., please let us know at the time of sign-up.

Upcoming A Muse Class with Emily

Emily is a guest teacher here at Crafter's Connection.  She is a member of the A Muse creative team and we are so thrilled to have her teach at our store.  She usually has classes here every couple of months ~ you can check our calendar for upcoming dates.

Here are photos of the cards in her ~ way too cute ~ upcoming spring card class.  In this class you will make all 5 of the cards you see below.  If you've been wanting to work with A Muse stamps and COPIC markers but haven't yet, here's your chance.  This class is going to be held on Saturday May 2nd at 10:30am.



 

Upcoming Quilling Class

Wanted to show a couple photos of Marian's upcoming quilling class.  This class is being held on Thursday April 30th at 6:30pm.

Class Samples

For those of you new to us, in addition to posting upcoming classes, we thought we'd occasionally post photos of previous classes by our teachers.  We think this will be a great way for you to get to know our teachers as well as all of the different types of classes we have here.  These are a few of Kathy's classes from the last few weeks.

This was a vintage Easter keepsake box.

This class was an altered frame that could be used for either sisters or friends.

And this last class was a shabby/vintagy keepsake box for letters, notes, etc.  All of the people in the class ended up customizing the word on the top of the box...instead of "letters" they all picked out what they wanted their box to say during the class, and then we cut them out from our die-cut machine.  Some put a person's name, another put the word treasures.  They all turned out a little different, but that made it so much fun!

Pergamano

We wanted to let those of you that don't already know, our very own Marian is a certified Pergamano instructor.  If you're unfamiliar with Pergamano, it is a parchment-paper craft that Spanish nuns developed in the 16th century.   The results from this technique are stunning!

Here are a few samples of Marian's work. (you can click on photos for more detail)

Marian usually teaches one or two Pergamano classes each month ~ you can check the calendar for dates and times.

Upcoming Stampscapes Classes

Here's a couple of photos of Janine's super popular upcoming Stampscapes card classes.

Her next class is A Walk on the Beach and is going to be on Tuesday April 21st at 6:30pm.

Her class after that is Sailing in the Islands and it will be on Saturday April 25th at 11:30am.

Aren't these beautiful?  If you haven't taken a class with Janine yet, you will love her ~ and she is a master of the beautiful techniques used in these classes.

Things We Are Loving This Week!

And chipboard too...we love the blank canvas with so much possibility...painting, inking, embossing, glitter...

This is only a tiny sample of the chipboard we have ~ we have over 100 different chipboard products and styles.

CHA

As you know, we went to CHA this past January and had so much fun!!!!  What's not to love... friends, shopping, more shopping...

We wanted to share a few photos.

The most important one, and always a first stop...the chocolate fountain at Rusty Pickle.

This layout was in Anna Griffin's booth, and we all fell in love with it...so creative.

We Did It!

Well, we did it.  We've jumped in and started a blog!

We are really excited to be able to keep in touch with you through our new blog.

We'll keep you posted on upcoming classes and events, as well as new products as they arrive.  We'll even try to throw in a few project ideas now and then.  When we get inspired, we'll try to inspire you too.
